About Nico "Bad Vibes" Winter
"The name Bad Vibes Tattoos was inspired by mom."
The first tattoo I did on myself said "bad vibes only" as an ironic birthday tattoo I gave myself during the first lockdown of 2020. I told my mom I gave myself a "bad vibe" tattoo and she thought I meant that was the name of the shop I went to.
Honestly, I didn't think I was going to be a tattoo artist but I thought the name was cool and thought that maybe if I coined the instagram handle someone would pay me $100 one day to use it.
You don't need to know what the end result will be; all you need to know is that you're ready.
My Approach
Tattooing is more than art in the same way that art is more than just a picture. My approach to tattoo consultations is based on interview and therapy style questions to understand you on a deeper level before starting on your design.
Some individuals' stories can take longer to tell than others which is why we sometimes book multiple virtual meetups leading up to your appointment.
